Visited Chitale Bandhu Karve Nagar and had a great experience. The quality of sweets and snacks is excellent as always. Bakarwadi, pedha and dairy products are fresh and tasty. The shop is clean and well organized, and staff handles customers quickly even during rush hours.

Perfect place to buy authentic Chitale products in Karvenagar area. They have fresh bakarwadi and pedhe. They also have packed products (diet chiwda, bakarwadi, moong dal, etc) which are travel friendly and/or export ready. Parking for two wheelers is in front of the store, but for 4 wheelers it might be difficult. Main thing - IT IS OPEN FROM 9AM TO 9PM (duparchi sutti nahiye 😀) Entrance is from left side, when you fsce the store, and exit is on the right side. They have plastic buckets at the entrance incase you need to take more than 1 item. PS - my go-to place to shop for pedhe and bakarwadi while travelling to any other city.

Its one of best traditional Maharastrian sweet shop. You can get savouries and sweets. I can only say try once... no need to explain more for quality, hygiene, staff, price (considering all aspects in pune and other states)

The moment you enter the store, you're greeted with the warm aroma of freshly made mithai, and the place is always buzzing with happy customers. Despite being busy most of the time, the staff is efficient, polite, and manages orders quickly. I recently visited to buy some sweets for a family function and picked up their famous Bakarwadi, Kaju Katli, and Amba Barfi. As always, the taste was spot on—authentic, rich, and consistent. Their Bakarwadi deserves a special mention: perfectly spiced, crispy, and addictive! The Kaju Katli was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness, and the Amba Barfi had a refreshing flavor that brought back childhood memories. What I appreciate most is their quality. Chitale Bandhu never compromises on ingredients, and everything tastes fresh. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to local sweet shops, but the quality and trust in the Chitale brand make it worth every rupee. If you’re looking for genuine Maharashtrian snacks or traditional sweets for gifting or festivals, this place should definitely be on your list. Highly recommended!
